2010......so far...............

What a whirlwind of a year it's been already. Paul and I took our annual two week getaway.........we picked Maui again this year. Beautiful. I think I may have taken one picture and I think Paul took one picture. Oh and well.

I hit the pavement running when I got back. I needed to get Sam and Nikki's nursery started and finished. I did - it's mailed. Turned out really really cute. No picures. Then I decided to ask Nikki if she needed a diaper bag. She said yes - I made one of those for her which of course, tipped the domino - I made one for Summer and now I'm going to make one for Sharon. It's an Amy Butler pattern and super super sturdy. I had made one for Dani and she really loves it. Then I made the dress you see. I think it's one of the cutest things I've ever made. You take a t-shirt and cut it off and just add strips of gathered material. I have a pattern for a 2/3, 4/5, and 6/7..........anyone want to look at it? Jaime?

I have a sewing machine but it scares me so it is neatly packed away. Is there anything you can't do?

3 grandbabies in 1 year you are blessed.

Glad you guys had a great time in Hawaii!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!

I am super excited for my diaper bag. Thanks! I started sewing the stuff for baby boy's bedding and I am loving it. I haven't started the bumper pads yet, I am a little scared for that! But, I did get the sheet done and started a blanket to go with it. I bet Nikki's turned out so cute, I can't wait to see it!

Anyway, have a great Birthday today!

Jealous of your Hawaii trip, as usual!

I'm so excited to get my diaper bag!

And I am loving the t-shirt dress. I've got to figure out how to make these in smaller sizes!

I'm so jealous of people who can sew. I stayed up till 2 a.m. the other night hemming Jessica's choir dress. I need a sewing project that isn't so painful for me. You inspire me. You are the perfect grandma.

You are the most creative grandma! Love all the clothes you are making. Wish I had that talent! I was so sad that I missed you at church when you were down here. I had a terrible cold ... and was so bummed. Hope to see you next time you come. Kathy
