This morning April and I hiked the service road on the mountain near our house. I am pretty sure I showed it to most of you. It is very steep and difficult for humans. So Moki started to follow us. First off it was 6am. Secondly, Moki can hardly stand yet alone hike. He just kept following us and following us. He really bugged me. I kept scolding him to stay home. I finally started throwing a few rocks in his direction to let him know he was not wanted. To no avail..............Moki the Mighty hiked the service road. He stayed right with us (much to my dismay) and on our way home he pooped out around the office. However, I walked in the door around 8:10am and was showered and back out the door by 8:30am and he was already home. How he did this is certainly a miracle. St. Moki!
Just before our hike I was out in the rock pile pulling weeds and setting the sprinkler. I was at the top of the rock pile with my back to the driveway. There was a particularly big and stubborn weed. I sat on a rock and started pulling. Well it did the trick only I wasn't able to stop the motion and tumbled backwards down the rock pile and really banged the back of my head. I now have a giant goose egg and it really hurts. The only thing that made it better is that there wasn't anyone there to see it! I now have an extra measure of compassion for my grandbabies who seem to bump their noggins all of the time!

4am...........
So this morning I was just done sleeping by 4am. I've been sick for about three days so I guess I had just slept myself out! However, my alarm was set to go off at 5:15am anyways. I left the house around 5:45 and arrived at Alli's place around 6am. We headed across the mountain for an 8am temple session. I just found myself feeling so grateful that I was able to A. get to the temple B. Not have to worry about a job that would keep me from going (thank you Paul for always supporting me being an at-home mom!) C. Be with my daughter as she experienced the temple and D. Know that it could have been any of my children sitting next to me.
I am blessed....................

Water..........
I'm an Aquarian. I think this may be the cause and root of all water problems that seem to plague Paul and I. In our old house on Pacific Terrace we had geothermal. This is supposed to be a free way to heat the house and pool. It was not free. We pulled our well and replaced pipes a lot. I figured that when we built a house that we would be water problem free! Wrongo! We have been in this house for 2 1/2 years and we've had the well pulled 3 times! The first time there was a hole in one of the pipes. This well goes down 850 feet. The company had never had a hole in these kinds of pipes - EVER! Enter - the Stewart family. The second time our pump in the well went out. No pump - no water. They couldn't believe the pump would go out. Enter yet again - the Stewart family. For the past week we have been struggling to keep the well on. It stops. We turn off the power to it for 5 minutes. We turn it back on. The water starts back. up. This would go on about 4 -6 times a day. So first they replaced a wire in the well that they thought was burned out. Did this fix it? No. Then they replaced the control panel and thought for sure that would fix it. Did this fix it? No. Yesterday they pulled all 850 ft. of pipe out. Today they put in a new pump. Did this fix it? So far! So while I have water today and didn't yesterday, or the day before, or.......etc........I am pessimistic that I will have water in the morning. Anyone know of some weird water curse going around?

93
I just counted. 93. That's the number. The number of what you may ask? The number of pairs of socks Paul has. How is that even possible. He just cleaned them out and replaced so many with new socks. I don't think he threw any away. 93 pair? I just can't even wrap my brain around that number. Oh wait, there's 94...........he's wearing a pair.............
And p.s. - that's only dress socks. This doesn't count the athletic socks in the downstairs bedroom in a drawer.
