Timing is everything!

This was supposed to happen.............

But instead, this happened!

A pretty good tradeoff if you ask me! I was at girls camp and the day before the big hike I get a call from Dani that she's a go to have a baby! Not due til the 18th of August. I think I had my truck packed up in about 5 minutes, shed a few tears with the camp leaders, and was off. About two hours into the drive I got the call that Taytum Jean Harmon was born at 6:31pm, 7lbs 5oz, 21 inches long. I spent a week watching over her siblings and enjoying Taytum - aka Tater Tot, lil Spud, Tay, Tater! I would not have missed it for the world. The mountain will be there forever..........Taytums birth only happens once!

Welcome to the world my beautiful grandbaby!

I still feel bad about stealing you away... but not that bad, Tay is pretty dang cute and yummy! :) Thank you so much for coming up at the drop of a hat; especially straight from girls camp. We would not have survived that first week without you. And plus, it was just super fun to have you here! Love you and miss you!

Hi Suzane I found your blog on Aprils Blog. Your family has grown so much I can't believe Ali is old enough to be married. Where does the time go? You still have an amazing family and I hope one day my Daughters (I have 3 now)will be as confident and blessed as yours.

Jana Beebe(I hope you remember me from Klamath)

Well put mom! Mt McLoughlin will always be there...You'll get there! I'm glad you got to go up (for the both of us). :)

So true, McLoughlin will still be there. And when you go up that mountain, I'll go with you. Taytum's birth is definitly more important. And she is way cuter than that old dirty mountain anyways. So glad you were able to go and be such a help to Dani.

She is beautiful!!! Even more beautiful than the mountain which is spectacular in itself. I'm so glad you were able to be with them--it is really a sweet time-isn't it?

Yay for moms/grandmas that drop everything to help out! I agree that it was a great tradeoff! :) Congrats on the upcoming arrival of the next grandbaby too.
