Palm Springs or bust!

Well, I am finally home. I feel like I've been gone for weeks on end.........oh wait, I have!

Palm Springs was wonderful. We had quite the schedule worked out - walked a mile to the store for breakfast.........sat and talked at an outside table while we ate........walked a mile back..........sat at the pool for 6 hours............got in the convertible and drove around for awhile...........ate dinner and caught a show......it was a pretty great week. I was ready to come home however. I missed that husband of mine......imagine that! :)

We picked up the new horse.........Rosarita..........from O'Brien Oregon. She is a great old mare and I'm anxious to start getting on her. I did find out about a new mixture you make up to help any skin ailments - she has a few 'rain rot' spots on her back - you mix half and half Listerine and baby oil! I wonder what it would work on for human skin...........I'll keep you posted!

I'm also looking at changing her name. She's been called Rosie but I thought something southwestern/western would fit better. Any suggestions would be welcome!

I'll get to putting up some pictures someday............I can't find my camera or my cord..........big surprise eh?

I didn't even know you got a new horse until Sam mentioned it in passing yesterday. Sounds like she's taken over, though. :)

I'm jealous you got to go to Palm Springs. Sam and I will have to revisit there some time.

Your camera....your phone...you need one of those key finder things that they had in Along Came Polly. Maybe that could help you keep track of things! :)

Have you checked the bottom of the pool for your camera? ;)
